March 9, 2022: Cabo is a seven-month-old hound mix puppy. He was left with his litter mates at a high column shelter in Tennessee. The siblings made their way up to a rescue group in New York and are now all comfortably living in foster care and getting correctly socialized.
It is believed that Cabo will reach about 50 pounds once he is fully grown. Like a typical hound dog, Cabo is highly intelligent and will ultimately become your constant companion. He loves meeting new people, is gentle with other dogs, and can easily learn to cohabitate with cats and older children.
Cabo is currently in a foster home with another dog and enjoys having a furry friend to learn from and play with, especially when he gets his bursts of puppy energy and practices zoomies around the yard.
Cabo has been easy to train because he is very food motivated. He has learned all of the basic commands such as sit, stay, down, come and paw and has shown to be quite patient when waiting for his treats. His adorable personality is shining through more and more every day. This sweet boy is sure to become the sunshine in your life.
Cabo is completely healthy, neutered, microchipped, and is up to date with his vaccinations. If you would like more information about him, please visit Social Tees rescue at www.socialteesnyc.org
