Sept. 15, 2021: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.

08/17/2021 05:13 pm Lawrence Hospital: A 27-year-old psychiatric patient of Lawrence Hospital eloped from the hospital. A canine from the Westchester County Police Department was used to try and track the individual using an article of clothing retrieved from his residence. The canine track yielded negative results. The individual last made contact with a family member stating that they were in NYC. The individual was entered into the missing persons data base. On 08/20/2021 a New Jersey Police Department advised that they had located the individual in good physical condition and that they were taken for medical care in NJ.

08/19/2021 12:40 am Pondfield Road: A report of a man walking in the street yelling. Officers responded and were unable to locate the male.

08/19/2021 12:30 pm Lawrence Hospital: A patient reported that his wallet which was last seen in his hospital room was missing.

08/19/2021, 6:27 pm Lawrence Hospital Parking Garage: A Child Protective Services Worker called 911 requesting assistance with a combative woman who may be experiencing an altered mental episode. After attempts at de-escalation were unsuccessful, the woman who was the subject of a CPS case had to be physically restrained and handcuffed by responding Officers to preserve the safety of the CPS Worker, herself and the Officers as she became physically combative, refusing to exit a CPS owned vehicle. The woman was taken into Lawrence Hospital for evaluation. In accordance with new DCJS reporting requirements a separate police report was generated to memorialize the use of physical force.

08/20/2021 07:43 pm White Plains Road: While performing routine patrol Officers encountered a 23-year-old male from New Rochelle who was walking into traffic on White Plains Road. The male who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown narcotic refused to comply with orders and pleas to exit the roadway and go to the sidewalk. The Officers used hands on force to remove the male from the street and handcuff him for their safety, his safety and the safety of the responding emergency medical personnel from EVAC. He was taken to Mount Vernon Hospital via EVAC for evaluation. In accordance with new DCJS reporting requirements a separate police report was generated to memorialize the use of physical force.

08/20/2021 12:54 pm Sagamore Road: A backpack containing personal information, and Apple iPad and loose change were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

08/25/2021 11:28 am Prescott Avenue: Property damage was caused by a delivery truck. Village owned cameras were used to identify the vehicle and the company. The homeowner was provided with the information and facilitated restitution with the company on her own. No further Police action was requested.

09/02/2021: Police assisted with a verbal dispute between family members. A domestic incident report was completed. No crime was committed.

09/04/2021 05:30 pm Pondfield Road: A wallet was stolen from the purse of a customer at a Bronxville beauty salon. A female perpetrator posing as a perspective customer fled from the salon without paying for services after stealing the wallet. The incident was caught on salon surveillance cameras and village owner cameras were used to track and assist in identifying the perpetrator. Credit cards contained in the stolen wallet were used to make several purchases in Yonkers before the wallet was discovered missing. An arrest is pending. 

09/10/2021 11:50 am Kraft Lot: Motor vehicle accident, two cars, no injuries, an information exchange was completed by the responding Officer.

09/12/2021 2:39 am: Elm Rock Road A loud party was reported, unfounded.
