Pet of the Week: Pretty Penny Is Looking for a Forever Home Where She can Shine

July 14, 2021: Penny is a loving and lively two-year-old Redbone Coonhound mix with a beautiful deep red coat, soulful eyes, and a joyful disposition. She may look serious to you, but Penny is all about having fun.
This smart and social girl thrives on interaction and activity. She is a great sidekick who likes to go everywhere with her people. She especially loves to take rides in the car. Penny makes friends wherever she goes and is also amazingly wonderful with children.
Penny loves to play and would enjoy a home with a fenced-in yard and a canine buddy. Her leash walking skills are excellent. She knows basic commands and is very eager to please, particularly for treats. Due to her Coonhound heritage, she's inclined to be vocal when excited but is making good progress learning to redirect her music.
Pretty Penny is ready to find an active forever home where she can truly shine. She weighs about 50 pounds, is up-to-date on her vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
