Pet of the Week: Blue Buddy, a Lab Mix, Needs a New Home

June 16, 2021: Meet Blue Buddy, a six-year-old super friendly Lab mix in need of a new home because two of his family members have developed severe allergies and asthma.
His current owners are heartbroken to give him up since they have had him since he was a young puppy. They said Blue has given them years of joy and affection and is like one of their children. He is a happy boy who loves belly rubs, going for walks, and playing with his toys. He loves to interact with people and will jubilantly ask for your attention with his paw.
Blue is housebroken and great with kids. He gets along with most of the dogs he meets but once in a while will bark if he does not feel comfortable with a fellow canine. His owner states that he is nondestructive, does not go on furniture, and will spend a lot of his time just happily napping by your feet.
Blue does have a fear of fireworks, and his parents have been working with him to try and ease his stress when he hears them. Otherwise, Blue Buddy is an easy-going, gentle, and loving soul who has been an ideal family pet. He is healthy, neutered, and up to date with all of his vaccines.
