May 26, 2021: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.
May 17, 2021, 09:32 am, Palmer Road: In accordance with NYS DCJS mandates and Department Policy, a use of force report was completed due to Officers using hands-on physical force to control of an individual who was balling his fists and making aggressive movements toward the Officers. The Officers were called to the Lawrence Hospital parking structure for a male who was reportedly trespassing and refused to leave when asked by security. The responding Officers discovered that the male was experiencing an altered mental state and was in need of medical attention. Officers requested an ambulance to transport the male for an evaluation and had to restrain him while waiting for emergency medical personnel to arrive as described above. The subject was transported via EVAC to White Plains Hospital for evaluation.
May 18, 2021, 5:15 pm, Pondfield Road: An anonymous passerby reported an elderly male and female in distress. Officers canvassed the area and were unable to locate the subjects described by the caller.
May 19, 2021, 10:40 pm, Northway: Motor vehicle accident, two cars, no injuries; an information exchange was completed by the responding Officer.
May 21, 2021, 4:15 pm, Summit Ave: A resident reported a dispute over a construction ladder with a local company. The complainant and the owner of the construction company were advised that the matter was civil in nature.
May 22, 2021, 1:46 am, Summit Ave: An anonymous caller reported a group of kids causing a disturbance in the area. Officers responded and were unable to substantiate the claim.
May 22, 2021, 10:05 pm, Pondfield Road: A U.S Postal scanner was found by a pedestrian and turned over to Police. U.S. Postal Police were notified.
