Senior Citizens Council's Free Parking Raffle Is On: One Year of Free Parking in Village PDF Print Email

May 7, 2014:  Don’t miss out on a chance to win free parking in Bronxville for a year!

The Senior Citizens Council is now selling tickets for its long-standing annual raffle.

The coveted prize is access to free parking at any metered space in the village (except handicapped-parking spaces). Starting July 1, if you are the lucky winner, you can park in a different space every time you are in the village--including the train station. The Village of Bronxville has once again generously donated the space.

The drawing will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend festivities. You need not be present to win. Tickets are $3.00 each, $5.00 for two, and $15.00 per book of six.

Raffle proceeds support the Senior Citizens Council, the parent organization that oversees the Bronxville and Tuckahoe senior centers. The programs offered to over 500 members at the centers are essential in maintaining and enriching the members' quality of life.

You can purchase your tickets at the raffle tables on Pondfield Road outside Citibank and Studio One on Fridays and Saturdays through May 23 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (weather permitting).

Tickets will also be sold at the Bronxville Farmers' Market at Stone Place off Paxton Avenue from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturdays, May 10, 17, and 24.

You can also contact Lorraine Mohan, raffle chairwoman, at CLOAKING for raffle books.
