Apr. 28, 2021: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.
April 2, 2021, 9: 36 PM, White Plains Road: Auto accident; information exchange only.
April 5, 2021, 4:34 PM, Locust Lane: Resident of a Locust Lane home reported that concrete planters were intentionally overturned, causing damage.
April 6, 2021, Garden Avenue: Police took a report of a 2020 Audi being stolen from a residential driveway on Garden Avenue. The vehicle was unlocked with the key fob within the vehicle at the time of the theft. The vehicle was subsequently recovered in Newark, New Jersey.
April 6, 2021, 5:14 PM, Cedar Street: Officers resolved a verbal dispute between the manager of Acme and subjects illegally parked in the Acme lot.
April 16, 2021, 8:29 PM, Manor Road: Police responded to an activated burglar alarm on Manor Road and discovered a burglary scene. A search by responding officers and canine units yielded negative results. Entry was gained into the home by climbing to a second story window and breaking the glass of the window. Stolen from within was an unknown amount of jewelry. The investigation is active and ongoing. We encourage all residents to activate their alarms at all times when their home is empty and report suspicious cars and persons to the police department immediately.
April 22, 2021, 6: 28 PM, Pondfield Road: Police responded to a dispute between two patrons at Underhills Crossing. The dispute was verbal only and was resolved by responding officers.
