Local Covid Report: Vaccine Eligibility Expanded & Update on Cases in Bronxville

Mar. 24, 2021: Covid-19 cases in Bronxville fell this week from 39 on March 14 to 29 on March 22, 2021. Overall, cases in Bronxville and nearby towns fell by 24. Mount Vernon saw the largest decline (32 cases) followed by Bronxville and Tuckahoe. Cases in Yonkers and Eastchester were up this week. The Westchester positivity rate on March 22, 2021 was 5.3%, You can view the Westchester Covid-19 interactive map here.
School News
According to the New York State Covid-19 Schools Report Card, there have been no new cases in the Bronxville School in the past seven days.

Vaccination News
The Governor's office announced yesterday, March 23, 2021, that starting today, New Yorkers 50 years of age and older are now eligible to receive the vaccine. To find an appointment (if available) at a State-run vaccination site call 1-833-697-4829.
As of March 23, 2021, 26.1 percent of New Yorkers had completed at least one vaccine dose.
