By Kathleen Winter and Barbara McGraw, Co-Chairwomen Bronxville Seniors Raffle
Mar. 17, 2021: The annual Senior Citizens Council raffle for a free parking space in Bronxville for a year will take place this May to support the Tuckahoe and Bronxville Senior Citizens.
About the Senior Citizens Council
The Senior Citizens Council, formed in 1970, is a volunteer non-profit organization that oversees the programs for 450 members. Current services have continued throughout the pandemic via Zoom, enriching our senior neighbors' quality of life and wellness. Many of our volunteers have connected with phone calls, texts, and emails.
Last Year's Raffle Was Canceled
A year ago, we had our Parking Raffle mailing materials printed and ready to be mailed. Then the pandemic hit, and we decided to cancel the raffle as we did not feel it was appropriate to conduct a fundraiser. Since the Parking Raffle has been an annual event since the early 1990s, we are grateful to the Village of Bronxville for their decades of loyal support!
