Letter to the Editor:
As village residents head to the polls on March 16th, Bronxville is fortunate to have a candidate for Village Trustee as qualified as Bill Fredericks.
The undersigned urge you to vote for Bill on the strength of his years of service to the village, knowledge of the community and commitment to representing all of our residents.
Since 2009, Bill has served on the Bronxville Zoning Board of Appeals, and chaired it since 2013. In that role, he spearheaded a recent review and reform of the village’s Zoning Code, providing better notice to neighbors of proposed construction projects and subjecting all “teardowns and rebuilds” to at least some review.
Bill grew up in Bronxville, attended the Bronxville school for 9 years and returned in 1997 with his wife Ivy and children Charlotte and Thomas. He has been active in community affairs, serving as a trustee of the Bronxville Historical Conservancy, treasurer of the Bronxville-Tuckahoe-Eastchester Nature Preserve, and as an active member of many other Bronxville organizations.
Bill also brings considerable legal expertise to his role as Trustee. A Columbia Law graduate, he has been named annually since 2012 to both US News and World Report’s “Best Lawyers” list in commercial litigation and SuperLawyers’ list of top New York securities litigators.
We are very fortunate to have a candidate of such accomplishment, experience and devotion to our community step forward. We urge all our neighbors to join us in casting their votes on March 16th for Bill Fredericks for Village Trustee.
