Gramatan Village Men’s Group Engenders Lively Discourse

By Sherry Saturno, Executive Director, Gramatan Village

Feb. 10, 2021: Gramatan Village, a non-profit that supports empowered aging-in-community, hosts a monthly Men’s Group meeting that engenders lively discourse and great camaraderie.

Before the pandemic, the Men’s Group met for monthly lunch meetings at the Tap House in Tuckahoe and has since pivoted to Zoom meetings.

The group is led by Dr. Jim Davis, Ph.D., and is open for men ages 55 and up. Each member has the opportunity to lead a dialogue on a topic of his choice at a meeting, and the discussion topics change monthly.

Ira Leibowitz, Esq., who served as the Discussion Leader for January’s meeting, remarked, “the Soul of America concept presented at the first post-inauguration meeting of our Men’s Club opened a dialogue on how our country might be united using truth, transparency, community, and cooperation. I am so very proud of being a member. I look forward to further pursuing lofty goals at Gramatan Village Men’s Club”.
