Dec. 16, 2020: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.
December 4, 2020, 10:21 pm, Normandy Road: A homeowner reported an unknown male on his neighbor’s property. The individual left before officers arrived. No crime was reported.
December 7, 2020, 8:27 pm, Kraft Avenue: Motor vehicle accident, two vehicles. One vehicle left the scene. The driver was identified using Village cameras and was contacted to return. Accident report prepared.
December 9, 2020, 12:33 pm, Crows Nest Road: DPW reported multiple street signs missing in the area of Pondfield Road and Midland Avenue. Utilizing Village cameras and the swift reach alert system, tips poured in from the community. The suspects were identified, and the signs were recovered. Investigation is still pending.
December 10, 2020, 12:57 pm: Tanglewyle Avenue: A boot was affixed to a vehicle rendering it inoperable due to $310.00 in outstanding parking fines. The fines and a $50 surcharge were satisfied later in the day, and the boot was removed.
December 10, 2020, 6:44 pm: Paddington Circle: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked by her home. The owner was identified. No crime was committed.
December 11, 2020, 8:44 pm, Pondfield Road: An irate customer who was unhappy with the current inventory of a store made a threat to the clerk and exited the establishment. The subject left the area before police were alerted.
