Pet of the Week: Squirrel PDF Print Email
Written by

Dec. 31, 2013:  It's always go, go, go for Squirrel. You can tell just by looking at her that she is one live wire with lots of spunk and personality. It was a challenge just getting her to sit still for her photo shoot because this busy beaver always has somewhere to go and something to do.

Squirrel is not like the other kitties who spend their days lounging and watching the world go by. No, this fun and affectionate lady doesn't want to miss a second of festivities. And if there is nothing exciting going on, she will find a way to bring the merriment to you.

This lively one-year-old brown tabby will keep you entertained and smiling. It is hard to believe that her former owner put her outside and abandoned her. Thankfully, a caring person realized what happened, rescued her, and got her to safety.

Squirrel is now residing in a foster home with other cats and dogs and is doing wonderfully. She is in excellent health, has been spayed, and is up to date with all her vaccinations.

The adoption donation for Squirrel is $80. If you would like to meet her, please contact Larchmont Pet Rescue at 914-834-6955 or visit Don't forget to mention that you learned about Squirrel from MyhometownBronxville.
