Sep. 2, 2020: Emmie is an eight-month-old female Golden Retriever who was rescued from an animal shelter in Memphis.
It is believed Emmie is a purebred Golden, and she most definitely displays the temperament of one: friendly, loving, and wonderful with children and other dogs.
This pretty girl is smart and has already learned her basic commands. She is crate trained, housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and loves to go for rides in the car.
She still has her puppy energy and would thrive with a family willing to continue her work with obedience training.
Outside she has a medium energy level, and inside the house, she is mostly calm. She has not been tested with cats yet, but so far, Emmie hasn’t met one person or animal she doesn’t like.
Emmie is currently living in a foster home in White Plains with three children. Her foster family said she responds easily and well to the training they are giving her and would make a perfect family pet and jogging partner. It is believed she was born in January of 2020.
Emmie is current on all of her vaccinations, spayed, healthy, and weighs about 50 pounds.
