May 15, 2013: The Senior Citizens Council has started selling raffles for a free parking space in Bronxville for a full year.
The lucky winner will be able to choose from any metered space in the village, including those at the train station. The space can be different each time you park.
The Village of Bronxville has generously donated this parking space.
This is an annual event that supports the Senior Citizens Council, the parent organization that oversees the Bronxville and Tuckahoe Senior Centers. The programs and services offered at both centers are essential to maintain and enrich the quality of life for our seniors.
The raffle tickets are being sold by council members and seniors on Fridays and Saturdays in Bronxville from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm during the month of May.
Tables are set up in front of Citibank and Topps Wine & Liquor Store.
Tickets are $3 for one, $5 for two, and $15 for a book of six.
If you cannot get to town, you can contact Lorraine Mohan at 914-793-8768 to order your raffle tickets.
The drawing will take place over Memorial Day Weekend. You do not have to be present to win but you do have to play to win. Come out and support the seniors.
