Letter to the Editor: Commending Bronxville Businesses for Participation in Salute to Seniors Day
To the Editor,
The Salute to Seniors Committee would like to commend all the businesses in Bronxville who helped make their day such a smashing success!
When committee members went door to door, contacting each business in the village to see if they would participate and offer something "special" for the day, all their responses were a resounding "yes"! And we found out that most offer a discount to seniors every day of the year. Who knew?
Our local businesses are such a very vital segment of what Bronxville is about. The seniors have supported them for years (and years) and hopefully, all village residents do, too.
We salute them!
