Letter to the Editor: Lorraine Verge on Eastchester Supervisor and Town Board

To the Editor:

Oct. 28, 2015:  Supervisor Anthony Colavita has done an excellent job for all of us in Eastchester, Bronxville, and Tuckahoe.

He quietly goes about his responsibilities, without tooting his own horn, and has become one of the most knowledgeable and experienced supervisors in Westchester. He works cooperatively with both village boards and all of the school districts. He has accomplished a lot. Eastchester is constantly recognized as one of the best places to live and raise a family, one of the safest communities in the area, and one of the most beautiful as well. Thank you, Supervisor Colavita, for your efforts.

The Eastchester Town Board is also very able and more involved with town government than in the past. Each member brings a unique perspective to the table and contributes to the improvements we have all witnessed.

Together, the town board and Supervisor Colavita have kept Eastchester affordable, which is no easy task these days. We are in great shape, thanks to each of them. I will be voting for Supervisor Tony Colavita, Joe Dooley, Glenn Bellitto, and Theresa Vaccaro Nicholson on Election Day.

Lorraine Verge
Eastchester Resident
