Oct. 14, 2020: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.

September 26, 2020, 9:35 pm, Beechwood Road: Officers responded to a call reporting a loud party. The call was unfounded.

September 27, 2020, 8:18 pm, Palmer Avenue: Two packages containing $618.00 worth of clothing was stolen after it was delivered. The incident is being investigated.

September 28, 2020, 9:40 am, Pondfield Road: A Bronxville Department of Public Works employee was reportedly bitten by a dog while performing his official duties. The dog’s vaccination records were confirmed. The dog was on the owner’s property.

September 28, 2020, 3:25 pm, Park Avenue: Officers responded to a 911 call of an argument inside a vehicle. The vehicle left the scene and could not be located. No crime was reported.

September 30, 2020, 4:30 pm, Prescott: A child riding a scooter was struck by a vehicle causing an injury to her foot. The driver, who was driving with a permit only, was issued a citation for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The child was transported to Westchester Medical Center for further evaluation.

October 2, 2020, 7:12 pm, Pondfield Road: A resident reported that an unknown female knocked on her door and appeared to be intoxicated. The woman, who did not claim any official business, was asked to leave by the homeowner and left on her own accord. No crime was committed.

October 5, 2020, 1:55 am, Prescott Avenue: A 33-year-old man of the Bronx was charged with DWI after reportedly failing a series of field sobriety tests and refusing to submit to a chemical test to determine his blood alcohol content. The man was released to a family member and issued a desk appearance ticket pending his next court appearance.

October 6, 2020, 11:50 am, Police Headquarters: A 33-year-old man was arrested on a Village of Bronxville Bench Warrant for failing to appear before the court on a previous charge of attempted grand larceny in the third degree (e felony) and criminal mischief in the third degree (e felony). The man was picked up at the Fishkill Detention Center by Detectives and arraigned by Judge Primps and in accordance with recently enacted NYS bail reform legislation. The man was released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.

October 6, 2020, 3:58 pm, Westbourne: A 31-year-old woman of Manhattan, a United States Postal Employee, was charged with two counts of Petit Larceny for stealing packages from the lobby of 1 Westbourne while on duty. The woman was processed by Detectives, and in accordance with recently enacted NYS bail reform legislation, she was issued a desk appearance ticket and released pending her next court date.

October 10, 2020, 4:25 am, Avalon Lot: Officers responded to a call of a disturbance in the Avalon Lot. An interview of a 21-year-old man of Yonkers revealed that the man was wanted on an active warrant issued by the NYS Police for Criminal Contempt of Court in the First Degree. The man was taken into custody and held for the State Police, who picked him up.

October 12, 2020,1:00 am, Midland Avenue: A 22-year-old woman of Mount Vernon was charged with DWI after she reportedly struck a pole causing her passenger to report pain to her face. The woman registered a blood alcohol content of .17%, more than double the legal limit. The passenger was observed by The Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps on scene but refused any further medical attention. The woman was processed and released on a desk appearance ticket pending her next court appearance.
