Letter to the Community: Reasons to Vote for President Trump PDF Print Email

T
o the Community:

Oct. 7, 2020: I wish to reply to the letter in today’s edition entitled “Getting the Vote Out for Biden”.

Basically, there are NO good reasons – only partisan political ones - to vote for Joe Biden. His flaws in leadership, character, and politics are numerous, and I won’t bother to list them here.

On the other hand, there are many GOOD reasons to vote for our current successful president, Donald J. Trump, based on his outstanding record.

Trump has accomplished more in 47 months in office - despite relentless pressure and distractions from the left (i.e., Russian / Ukraine Collusion Delusions, Impeachment Hoax, adverse/unfair national media, etc.) - than Biden has accomplished in 47 years in politics.

Below is a partial list of those GOOD reasons to vote for Trump:

Trump has:

a. Created the greatest period of economic prosperity in our history, including an unprecedented decline in black and Hispanic unemployment.

b. Defended the US Constitution by appointing more originalist federal judges than any previous president. Once the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett is approved in the Senate, this will include more Supreme Court Justices than any previous president.

c. Greatly improved our Armed Forces and the well-being of Veterans and created a new Space Force.

d. Reduced the corporate tax rate and brought jobs back to our country.

e. Reduced the individual tax rate, greatly improving the wages and net worth of the lower level of wage earners.

f. Created a fair trade treaty with Canada and Mexico to replace the unpopular NAFTA.

g. Withdrew the US from the dangerous Iran Nuke deal.

h. Put enormous economic pressure on China, in response to their many years of unfair trade practices and theft of our intellectual property.

i. Appointed highly qualified cabinet members (incl. Pompeo, Barr, Mnuchin, etc.).

j. Assisted state governors, including in “Blue” states in combatting the Covid-19 epidemic, and earned high praise from those governors (such as Cuomo, Murphy, and others).

k. Kept the US out of foreign wars, promoted peace in the Middle East, and been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize as a result.

l. Defended our borders against terrorism and illegal immigration, and spoken out loudly against sanctuary cities/states.

m. Put AMERICA FIRST in all cases, international and domestic.

In short, Trump has proven himself to be a DOER, and yes, a WINNER who fights for the American People. He richly deserves to be re-elected.

Sincerely,

Jim Tubridy
