Wednesday, June 12, Repaving of Sagamore RoadSagamore Road is scheduled to be paved today, Wednesday, June 12. There will be limited through traffic between Avon Road and Prescott Avenue and no on-street parking. Residents will continue to have access to their driveways. 

Wednesday, June 12, 7:30 pm, Bronxville Planning Board Meeting. The Bronxville Planning Board will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, June 12, at 7:30 pm at Bronxville Village Hall.  

Thursday, June 13, 7:00 pm, Bronxville Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting. There will be a meeting of the board of trustees of the Bronxville Public Library at 7:00 pm in the library.

Wednesday, June 12, to Wednesday, June 19, Seminars, Support Groups, Group Meetings, and Classes at NewYork-Presbyterian. NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital will be holding the following:

On Wednesday, June 12, and Wednesday, June 19, a joint replacement seminar from 9:45 to 11:15 am in the hospital lobby conference room (to register, call 914-787-2119), an aphasia support group meeting led by a NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital speech therapist from 2:00 to 3:00 pm in the speech office in the Rehab Department on the first floor of Palmer Hall (to register, call Dahna Stadtmauer at 914-787-3373).

On Saturday, June 15, a childbirth class taught by certified Lamaze instructors from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm in the hospital lobby conference room (tour of the Center for Maternal-Child Health included; $200; to register, call 914-787-5044).

On Tuesday, June 18, a meet-the-doctor series presentation by Dr. Morgan Busko, a primary care sports physician, who will discuss the physiology of exercise and the importance of muscle as an endocrine organ; the role of exercise in disease management and prevention; and how to make time for exercise. The presentation is titled "The No Pill Prescription: Exercise Medicine" and will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Lake Isle Country Club (to register, call 914-787-5000).

Tuesday, June 18, 7:00 pm, Meeting at Bronxville Library of Bronxville Democratic Committee to Discuss Reducing Westchester's Carbon Footprint. There will be a meeting of the Bronxville Democratic Committee at 7:00 pm in the Bronxville Public Library to discuss reducing Westchester's carbon footprint and making residents more resilient to climate change. The speakers are Peter McCartt, director of sustainability and energy conservation for Westchester County; Michelle Sterling, founder of the Food Scrap Recycling Program in Scarsdale; and a representative of the Bronxville School's Bronx River Research Project.
