Wednesday, April 24, Piano Trio at Sarah Lawrence. The Weiss Kaplan Stumpf Trio, the current holder of Sarah Lawrence College's Jean Wentworth Music Residency, will give a free public concert on the evening of Wednesday, April 24, at 7:30 pm in Reisinger Auditorium on the campus of the college.
Wednesday, April 24, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, White Elephant and Baked Goods Sale and Luncheon at Bronxville Women's Club. From 10:00 am to 4:00 am, there will be a white elephant and baked goods sale open to all at The Bronxville Women's Club, with proceeds going to the Cancer Support Team. Friday, April 26, 7:30 pm, Ashley Baldwin to Speak at Concordia's Jacobson Lecture. At Concordia College’s Jacobson Global Lecture on April 26, Ashley Baldwin from the World Health Organization will present a talk titled “Swarms, Floods and Scroungers – How Dominant Media Discourse Influences Policy and Shapes opinions.” The event is on Friday, April 26, at 7:30 pm at Concordia College. Friday to Sunday, April 26 to April 28, Sarah Lawrence College 2019 Poetry Festival. The Sarah Lawrence College 2019 Poetry Festival will take place from April 26 to 28 on the campus of the college. Participants will enjoy craft talks, panels, book signings, receptions, open mics, and more. All events are free and open to the public, but registration is requested. Sunday, April 28, 2:00 and 4:00 pm, Student Recitals at Bronxville Women's Club. Student musicians will be performing in two recitals ("Young Virtuosi Music Recitals") at The Bronxville Women's Club, one at 2:00 pm and one at 4:00 pm. These recitals are part of a philanthropic outreach program that provides a professional setting for the young musicians. Each concert lasts about an hour and is followed by a reception; they are open and free to the public and no reservations are required.
