Wednesday, January 23 and 30, Seminars and Support Groups at NYP Lawrence Hospital. NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital will be holding a pre-operative joint replacement patient education class on Wednesday, January 23 and 30, from 9:45 to 11:15 am in the hospital lobby conference room (call 914-787-2119 to register); and an aphasia support group meeting on Wednesday, January 23 and 30, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm in the speech office in the hospital's Palmer Hall, first floor, rehabilitation department (call Dahna Stadtmauer at 914-787-3373 to register). Click here for more information about these and other events at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital.

Saturday and Sunday, January 26 and 27, 7:00 pm, Bronxville Elementary School Play, Lion King PridelandsThe Bronxville Elementary School will be performing Lion King Pridelands at 7:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, January 26 and 27. Tickets are available at and can also be purchased at the door.

Monday, January 28, 7:15 pm, Photographer and Filmmaker Susan Meiselas to Lead Panel Discussion at Sarah Lawrence. Susan Meiselas, whose work uses photography as a medium for social change, will lead a discussion with author and contemporary critic Eduardo Cadava and photographer and artist Joel Sternfeld at 7:15 pm at the Heimbold Visual Arts Center Donnelley Film Theatre on the Sarah Lawrence campus at 1 Mead Way. The discussion is open to the public. To register, email  CLOAKING

Tuesday, January 29, 7:00 pm, Mathematics Scholar Daniel King to Discuss Game Theory at Sarah Lawrence. Sarah Lawrence faculty member Daniel King will discuss game theory at 7:00 pm on the Sarah Lawrence campus at 45 Wrexham Road. His presentation will focus on two particularly intriguing games: Newcomb’s problem and the prisoner's dilemma. The presentation is open to the public. To register, email  CLOAKING .
