Dec. 19, 2018: Below are events that will take place in and around Bronxville from Wednesday, December 19, to Monday, December 31, 2018. Wednesday and Thursday, December 20 and 21, Support Groups and Seminars at NYP Lawrence Hospital. NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital will be holding a pre-operative joint replacement patient education class on Wednesday, December 19, from 9:45 to 11:15 am in the hospital lobby conference room (call 914-787-2119 to register); an aphasia support group meeting on Wednesday, December 19, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in Palmer Hall, 1st floor, Rehab Department, Speech Office (call Dahna Stadtmauer at 914-787-3373 to register); and a living with cancer support group on Thursday, December 20, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in the cancer center conference room on the first floor of the hospital (call 914-644-8844, ext. 133, or email Deborah Vincent at CLOAKING to register). Click here for more information about these and other events at NYP Lawrence Hospital.

Monday, December 24, 104th annual Bronxville Christmas Pageant.  The Pageant takes place at 5:30 pm on Christmas Eve. As always, the pageant will feature a reenactment of the nativity scene with participants from the community and live animals.

Monday and Tuesday, December 24 and 25: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. December 25 is a federal and New York State holiday; government offices are closed, as are the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ and most banks. The two stock exchanges and some government offices and banks close early on December 24.
