Wednesday, December 5, 7:30 pm, the Ying Quartet at Sarah Lawrence. The Ying Quartet, holding the Jean Wentworth Music Residency at Sarah Lawrence College this year, will give a recital at The Performing Arts Center Reisinger Auditorium on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College. Friday, December 7, 6:00-7:30 pm, Light the Night Bronxville, Leonard Morange Square (Parkway Road near the train station). The Bronxville Chamber of Commerce will host its annual tree lighting with food and prizes as well as special appearances by Frosty and Santa.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, December 5, 6, and 8, Support Groups and Classes at NYP Lawrence Hospital. NYP Lawrence Hospital will be holding a pre-operative joint replacement patient education class on Wednesday from 9:45 to 11:15 am (call 914-787-2119 to register); a weight loss (bariatric) surgery support group for those preparing for bariatric surgery and those who have already had it on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 pm (call 914-787-4000 to register); a living with cancer support group on Thursday from 5:00 to 6:30 pm (call 914-644-8844, ext. 133 or email Deborah Vincent at
