Thursday, June 7, 1:30 pm, 1968, 50 Years Later: Media in the Sixties, Bronxville Library. At 1:30 pm in the Bronxville Public Library, award-winning sports journalist Evan Weiner will discuss how the media – especially television – came into its own in the 1960s. The foundation for the media we have today can be traced to the events and figures from the sixties.  

Friday, June 8, 11:00 am, Brain Aerobics, Bronxville LibraryAs we age, we can guard against memory loss and perhaps even delay the onset of diseases with memory exercises. Join Elder Care Homecare's Director of Patient Services Loren Gilberg, RN, BSW, CMC, MBA while she gives you everyday brain exercises and demonstrations to guard against memory deterioration. Saturday, June 9, 10:00 am, Sarah Lawrence: In Conversation: New York Times White House Correspondent Maggie Haberman ’96 and President Judd Discuss Democracy and Education is a special event to wrap up a yearlong series at Sarah Lawrence College of inaugural events exploring the theme Democracy and Education. It will be followed by an audience Q&A. The event will take place at 10:00 am on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College in the Heimbold Visual Arts Center’s Donnelley Film Theatre, 917 Kimball Avenue. Sunday, June 10, 2:00 pm, Celebration of Village Historian Mary Means Huber, Bronxville Library. The Bronxville Historical Conservancy continues its twentieth-anniversary celebration with a tribute to former village historian Mary Means Huber on Sunday, June 10, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm at the Bronxville Public Library. To register for this free event, please contact CLOAKING .
