Players who qualify will advance to the final round on May 23. The Bronxville golf team will also compete in team sectionals in the coming weeks.

Eighth-grader Molly Stoltz has qualified for the girls’ sectional golf tournament and will play at Centennial Golf Club on Monday.

The Bronxville boys’ tennis team clinched its fourth straight league title with late-season wins over Briarcliff (3-2), Solomon Schechter (4-1), Croton (5-0), and Irvington (5-0, 3-2). In the sectional team tournament held last week, the No. 6 Broncos beat No. 11 New Rochelle, 7-0, in the first round and will play No. 3 Harrison on Friday in the quarterfinals.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Playoff seeding for the girls’ lacrosse team was announced on Monday, and the Class D Broncos got the top seed. Bronxville received a bye in the first round and will play at home in the quarterfinals on Friday against the winner of No. 9 Westlake/No. 8 Pawling. If they advance in the tournament, the Broncos will play at home in the semifinals on Monday, May 21, and in the finals on Wednesday, May 23, at Torne Valley Sports Complex in Suffern. The Bronco girls finished the season with an 11-1 record in Section 1 and a 12-4 record overall.

Boys’ Lacrosse

The boys’ lacrosse seeding meeting will take place tomorrow. LoHud ranks Bronxville No. 2 in Class D behind No. 1 Pleasantville, and the boys should get home field advantage for the first round of the playoffs on Saturday, May 19. If the Broncos advance in the playoffs, the quarterfinal round will be played on Tuesday, May 22, the semifinals on May 24, and the finals on May 30 at Lakeland High School. The Broncos finished the regular season with an 8-4 record in Section 1 and an 8-8 record overall.

The baseball team finished the season 7-13 and will play away in the first round of playoffs on Thursday. The Broncos' opponent will be determined today at the Section 1 seeding meeting.

Go Broncos.
