Apr. 25, 2018:  Below are events that will take place in and around Bronxville from Wednesday, April 25, to Sunday, May 6, 2018. Several events sponsored by the Bronxville Public Library and NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital are included below. For additional events at the library and hospital, click here and here.

Wednesday, April 25, to Saturday, April 28, Bronxville High School Spirit Week. Spirit Week is a springtime homecoming for The Bronxville School and community. There will be multiple sports activities and related events. Saturday will be the first-ever Bronxville LaxFest. Thursday, April 26, 7:00-10:00 pm, Junior League Fundraiser, Bronxville Field Club. The Junior League of Bronxville will hold its spring fundraiser, Trends & Treasures, at the Bronxville Field Club on Thursday, April 26, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There will be a fashion show, many vendors, and a raffle. To purchase event or raffle tickets or for more information, visit or email CLOAKING . Saturday, April 28, 3:00 pm, Author Ines Rodrigues, Bronxville Library. Author Ines Rodrigues will be reading and discussing her historical novel Days of Bossa Nova, published in 2017, at the Bronxville Public Library on Saturday, April 28, at 3:00 pm. Monday, April 30, 7:00 pm, Presentation about Vaping, Bronxville School. The Bronxville School's B*Well Committee presents Neil Schluger, MD, a pulmonologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, who will be speaking at 7:00 pm in the multipurpose room of the school about vaping in a lecture titled "Smoking, Vaping and Everything in Between: What You Need to Know to Protect Your Child's Health." Thursday, May 3, 7:00 pm, Bronxville Board of Education Regular Meeting and Budget Hearing, Bronxville School. The Bronxville Board of Education will hold a regular meeting and a budget hearing on Thursday, May 3, at 7:00 pm in the school's multipurpose room. For more information, go to or call 914-395-0500.

Friday, May 4, 6:00-8:00 pm, Counseling Center Annual Benefit, Bronxville Field Club. The Counseling Center's 47th annual benefit will be held on Friday, May 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bronxville Field Club and will be honoring Sarah and Bob Underhill. There will be cocktails, hors-d'oeuvres, a silent auction, and a raffle. For more information, go to or call 914-793-2288.

Saturday, April 28, 7:30 pm, Pianist Jerome Lowenthal Performance and Lecture at Bronxville Women's Club. Piano legend Jerome Lowenthal will give a lecture and performance along with two of his students, Vassily Primakov and Joey Chang, at 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 28. The concert will be held at the Anna Lawrence Bisland 1928 House Concert Hall at The Bronxville Women's Club, 135 Midland Avenue. Sunday, May 6, 3:00 pm, Cellist Ani Kalayjian, Bronxville Library. Cellist Ani Kalayjian will be giving a recital in the Yeager Room of the Bronxville Public Library at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 6.
