Wednesday, March 7, 7:00 pm, Lecture at Sarah Lawrence College by Jeffrey Deskovic on Prosecutorial Misconduct. Jeffrey Deskovic, founder and president of The Jeffrey Deskovic Foundation for Justice, was wrongly convicted of a crime and later exonerated for it. In his lecture, he will speak about prosecutorial misconduct. Thursday, March 8, 5:00 pm, Film Screening, Starving the Beast, at Sarah Lawrence College. The film Starving the Beast, directed by Steve Mims, will be a screened as part of Sarah Lawrence College’s Art of Teaching Film Series. The screening is free and open to the public and will take place at the Heimbold Visual Arts Center’s Donnelley Film Theatre at 917 Kimball Avenue on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College. For more information, call 914-395-2412 or go to www.sarahlawrence.edu.

Thursday, March 8, 5:00 pm, Film Screening, Alive Inside: A Story of Music and Memory, at Sarah Lawrence College. The film Alive Inside: A Story of Music and Memory examines the effect of music on therapy for patients with memory disorders. After the screening, there will be a Q&A with Connie Tomaino, co-founder of the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function. The event is free and open to the public and will take place at the Esther Raushenbush Library at 1 Mead Way on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College. For more information, call 914-395-2412 or go to www.sarahlawrence.edu.

Thursday, March 8, 7:00 pm, Bronxville Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting. The board of trustees of the Bronxville Public Library will be holding a regular monthly meeting at 7:00 pm in the library. For more information, go to www.bronxvillelibrary.org or call 914-337-7680.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 8, 9, and 10, Bronxville High School Musical, The Addams Family. The Bronxville High School will perform the musical The Addams Family on Thursday, March 8, at 5:00 pm and Friday and Saturday, March 9 and 10, at 7:00 pm in the school's auditorium. The musical will be performed by high school students and will be directed by high school choral director Pamela Simpson. Tickets are on sale, available online through EventBrite.com, and will be available at the door.

Friday, March 9, 7:00 pm, Cocktail Party Fundraiser "Celebrating Irish Authors and Their Spirits" at Bronxville Public Library. The Friends of the Bronxville Public Library is hosting a fundraiser to benefit the library's programs and fund several new initiatives that will directly benefit patrons. The party will take place at 7:00 pm at the library. There will be cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, live music, and a raffle of several fun and exciting items and experiences. Sunday, March 11, 3:00 pm, Rosemary Loar presents "When Harry Met The Duke" at Bronxville Public Library. Singer Rosemary Loar will sing the music of Harold Arlen and Duke Ellington at 3:00 pm at the Bronxville Public Library. She will be accompanied by Frank Ponzio on piano. Join the Friends of the Bronxville Public Library for a glass of Prosecco and some refreshments at a reception following the concert. Sunday, March 11, 3:00 pm, 14th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. The day begins with Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 am featuring vocals by Cathy Maguire of County Louth Ireland (who was invited by Cardinal Dolan to sing at St. Patrick's Cathedral last year), with breakfast to follow. All are welcome. The parade starts at 3:00 pm at the church. Sheila Marcotte will be the grand marshal. 

Monday, March 12, 5:00 pm, Tim Goeglein on Faith in the Halls of Power at Concordia College: Tim Goeglein, a former top aide to President George W. Bush and currently VP of external relations at Focus on the Family in Washington, will lead a discussion titled Faith in the Halls of Power at 5:00 pm at the Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts on the campus of Concordia College. 

Monday, March 12, 8:00 pm, Bronxville Village Board of Trustees Meeting. The Bronxville Village Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 8:00 pm at Bronxville Village Hall. For more information, go to www.villageofbronxville.com or call 914-337-6500.

Tuesday, March 13, Referendum for Bronxville School's Proposed $24.8 Million Bond. There will be a referendum for village residents on the school's proposed $24.8 million bond. Wednesday, March 14, 9:30 am, Common Challenges for Mothers of Young Children Presented by The Counseling Center at The Reformed Church. Therapists Dr. Adrienne Katzow and Dr. Pia Scaglione of The Counseling Center will present the next program, “Common Challenges for Mothers of Young Children,” in its Conversation Series from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the Edwards Room of The Reformed Church of Bronxville. Wednesday, March 14, 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Lunch and Learn Series at NYP Lawrence Hospital, Fiber and Microbiome. Learn about your gut microbiome at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital's free lunch and learn series at 1:00 pm in the hospital's lobby conference room. Brian Young, MS, RD, CNSC, will explain why feeding your gut bacteria is actually good for you and which foods are best to eat to support your good bacteria and improve your overall health. Thursday, March 15, 7:30 am, Ellen Politi, Concordia College Business Breakfast, Marketing the World Cup en Español. Ellen Politi, vice president of affiliate relations at Telemundo, the leading media company for the production and distribution of Spanish-language content worldwide, will share her experiences in international event marketing at 7:30 am in the Pietruski Auditorium on the campus of Concordia College. 

Friday, March 16, 7:00 pm, Film Screening, Two Trains Runnin', at Concordia College, with Guest Speaker King Britt. Concordia College's Sluberski Film Series will screen the documentary film Two Trains Runnin' at 7:00 pm in the college's Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts. The film explores 1964's Freedom Summer during the civil rights movement. Composer, producer, DJ, and performer King Britt will be the guest speaker. Tuesday, March 20, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Meet the Doctor Series at NYP Lawrence Hospital, Sleeping Disorders. Join NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital's Meet the Doctor Series at 6:30 pm at Lake Isle Country Club for a free program on the diagnosis and treatment of sleeping disorders. Deborah Cappell, MD, and Jacqueline Angles, MD, both board-certified sleep medicine specialists, will lead the presentation and answer your questions.
