Thursday, January 25, 12:30 pm, Screening of Stag's Mirror and Discussion with Director at Sarah Lawrence
:  There will be a screening of Stag's Mirror, a short experimental film on the indigenous people of Chiapas, Mexico, and a discussion with director Robin Starbuck and Una Chang at 12:30 pm in the Heimbold Visual Arts Center Screening Room on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College at 917 Kimball Avenue. Thursday, January 25, 5:00 pm, Ami Omo Art Exhibition Opening Reception at OSilas Gallery: There will be an opening reception at 5:00 pm of the Ami Omo exhibition in the Barbara Walters Gallery in the Heimbold Visual Arts Center on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College at 917 Kimball Avenue. The exhibition will be on display from January 25 through March 4 and will feature works by visual and studio arts faculty member Lucas Blalock, with Asha Schechter, Chris Wiley, Emile Rubino, Gabriela Salazar, Jonathan Ehrenberg, Laura Tiffin, Lior Modan, Ragen Moss, Sacha Ingber, and Stuart Hawkins. Friday, January 26, 10:00 am, Memorial Service for George Yeager:  There will be a memorial service for George Yeager at 10:00 am in the sanctuary of The Reformed Church of Bronxville. A reception in the Edwards Room will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mill Reef Fund, 487 Goodwyn Street, Memphis, TN 38111.

Friday and Saturday, January 26 and 27, Bronxville Middle School Play Nobody to Murder:  Nobody to Murder, a one-act play produced by Bronxville Middle School students under the direction of Eva Gambino, will be performed on Friday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 2:00 pm in the school's Black Box Theater on the fourth floor of the school. Tickets are $10, $5 for elementary age students. Middle school students can come on their own to the performance, but elementary school students must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling. Enter the school using the Pondfield Road entrance only for both performances.

Sunday, January 28, 9:30 am, Open House at St. Joseph School:  St. Joseph School is holding an open house at 30 Meadow Avenue in Bronxville immediately following the 9:30 am mass. Tuesday, January 30, 1:30 pm, Lecture on Dewey and Classical Music at Sarah Lawrence:  Sarah Lawrence College music faculty member Martin Goldray will give a lecture titled "Dewey and the Experience of Classical Music" as part of the Inaugural Year series, a year-long exploration of the theme Democracy and Education in conjunction with the arrival of the college's eleventh president, Cristle Collins Judd. The lecture will take place at 1:30 pm in Reisinger Concert Hall at the Performing Arts Center at 40 Glen Washington Road on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College. For more information, call 914-395-2412 or go to
