:  The Bronxville Board of Education will have a meeting at 7:00 pm in the multipurpose room of The Bronxville School. For more information, go to or call 914-395-0500.

Thursday, March 16:  There will be an opening reception of the exhibition History of the Present at OSilas Gallery at 7:00 pm. The gallery is on the campus of Concordia College. The featured artists are Rose DeSiano, Shanti Grumbine, Valerie Hegarty, James Raczkowski, and Melissa Vandenberg. For more information, call 914-395-4507 or go to

Friday, March 17:  The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra with cellist Alisa Weilerstein will be giving a concert at The Reformed Church of Bronxville at 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The pieces to be performed will be Felix Mendelssohn's Nocturno for Winds, Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 5, Anton Webern's Five Movements for Strings, and Robert Schumann's Cello Concerto. Saturday, March 18:  There will be a meet-and-greet for Republican village candidates Robert Underhill and Randolph Mayer (for trustee) and Mary Marvin (for mayor) from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at Ernie's Wine + EATS, 7 Pondfield Road.

Saturday, March 18:  There will be a meet-and-greet for Democratic village candidate for trustee Elizabeth Calderon from 8:30 to 10:30 am at Stillmeadow Gourmet, 65 Pondfield Road.

Sunday, March 19:  There will be a concert at OSilas Gallery at 3:00 pm titled History of the Present: Old & New, which is being presented in conjunction with the art exhibition History of the Present. Works of old and new composers will be performed; the new composers include Matt Van Brink, Kapustin, and Negrone. Tuesday, March 21:  Bronxville Village will be holding a contested election for two trustee positions on the Bronxville Village Board of Trustees. Three candidates are running:  Robert Underhill, Randolph Mayer, and Elizabeth Calderon. Voting will take place at Bronxville Village Hall from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
