Feb. 8, 2017:   The Bronxville Middle School Squash team won both Division I and II titles at the Fairwest Middle School Squash Championship held at Chelsea Piers in Connecticut this past Saturday.

This is the sixth year in a row that Bronxville has won Division I. The winning team, which was managed by Michael Moynihan, included Tate Burgin, Charlie Clifford, Ronin Kaplan, Molly Stoltz, and Lainey Neild.  Johnny Moynihan, who was also on the team, was injured but came and cheered his team on. This team won Division I without giving up a game.

This is the fourth year in a row that Bronxville has won Division 2. The winning team included Brooks Clifford, Ellie Clifford, Lainey Neild, AJ Radik, and Peter Vorbach. Charlie Vorbach, father of Peter and manager of the team, commented, "These children can be tremendously proud of how they played. Every player fought hard on every single point of every single game in every single match. They are a wonderful group of kids and their sportsmanship is outstanding."
