:  The Bronxville Village Planning Board will hold a meeting at 7:30 pm in Bronxville Village Hall. For more information, go to or call 914-337-6500.

Thursday, February 9:  At 1:30 pm, a program will be presented at the Bronxville Public Library that covers topics on Alzheimer's disease, such as warning signs, differences in dementias, how to get a proper diagnosis, stages of the disease, treatment options, research, and services to help. Friday, February 10:  There will be a dinner and subsequent presentation at The Bronxville Women's Club by Dr. Laura M. Chmielewski of SUNY-Purchase about women in the 19th-century westward movement in America. Sunday, February 12:  There will be a chamber music concert at The Reformed Church of Bronxville at 5:00 pm. Dvorak's Piano Quintet in A Major for strings and piano and Shostakovich's Trio in C minor will be performed by world-renowned violinist Christopher Collins Lee, Nurit Pacht, violin, Kathryn Lockwood, viola, Andy Kim, cello, and Sándor Szabó, piano. Monday, February 13:  There will be a screening of PBS Frontline's documentary Being Mortal, which is based on the book of the same name by Dr. Atul Gawande about patients with terminal illness. There will be a discussion with nurses following the screening. The screening will be at Pietruski Hall in the Donald A. Krenz Academic Center on the campus of Concordia College.
