:  Dr. Napoleon Peoples will give the spring 2017 Jacobson Global Lecture, which will be titled "A Conversation on the Reform and Revolution of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Work," at Concordia College's Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts at 7:00 pm. Dr. Peoples is professor emeritus, division of student affairs, at Virginia Commonwealth University. For more information, go to

Saturday, January 28:  There will be a memorial service for Doris Russ Blair at 11:00 am at The Reformed Church of Bronxville.

Saturday, January 28:  The Reformed Church of Bronxville will present a fully staged comic opera, with chamber orchestra and soloists, La Cambiale di Matrimonio by Rossini, at 7:00 pm. The performance will be held in the church's Edwards Hall.
