Handbell Choirs to Perform at The Reformed Church Sunday, December 16 PDF Print Email

By Lee J. Corbett, Director of Handbells, The Reformed Church of Bronxville

Dec. 5, 2018:  On Sunday, December 16, at 4:00 pm in the main sanctuary of The Reformed Church of Bronxville, three handbell choirs will combine to lead a beautiful handbell processional down the center and side aisles of the sanctuary, ringing in the beginning of the annual holiday handbell concert.

The choirs to perform are the Concert Ringers (adults), the Kirk Ringers (tenth to twelfth grades), and the Whitechapel Ringers (sixth to ninth grades).

In addition to familiar melodies ranging from the sublime "Infant Holy" to the fun "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy," there will also be two carols for everyone to sing, accompanied by bells, organ, and soloists.

The concert is free and will last one hour.
