Freya Dora Ruegsegger Passed Away on September 18, 2020; Service To Be Held November 28

By the family

Nov. 25, 2020: Freya Dora Ruegsegger 95, of Bronxville, NY passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020.

Bundi Ruegsegger died peacefully in her sleep, with her family present. Bundi grew up in Zürich, Switzerland and came to the United States in 1948. She deeply loved her life in New York and was very proud to be an American.

She lived with her family in Bronxville in the same house since 1959. Bundi was the loving wife of Paul Ruegsegger and the proud mother of Ted, Christina, and Carole. She is survived by her children, their spouses Suzanne and Roland, and grandchildren Elizabeth, Alex, and Nikki.

During the nine decades of her life she experienced many remarkable events in the world firsthand.  At all times, throughout everything, she was truly an elegant and gracious lady. We will miss this generous and lovely person very much.

A Memorial service will be held at the Bronxville Cemetery on Saturday November 28 at 10:30 am with a Service to follow at The Reformed Church in Bronxville at 11:00 am.  You can attend the service remotely by clicking on this link:
