Dr. Patricia McCaffrey Hagendorn Dies February 19, 2014, after Long Illness
Feb. 26, 2014: Dr. Patricia McCaffrey Hagendorn of Bronxville passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
She is survived by her husband, William, who resides in Bronxville, her two daughters, Patricia and Katherine, and four grandchildren.
Patricia was a physician, graduating from Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania and completing residency training at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan.
She worked for several years for Exxon, General Foods, and Kraft, and was corporate medical director of Chase Manhattan Bank for ten years.
In retirement, she studied painting and music and traveled extensively.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph's Church on Saturday, February 22.
