Molly was born in Yonkers, New York, to the late H. Kennedy Nickell and the late Laura Thornton Wood Nickell. Molly was the widow of Junius R. Fishburn and Lewis S. Griffith.

Molly was known and cherished for her twinkling eyes, her big loving smile, and her welcoming embrace. With her enduring, cheerful enthusiasm, kindness, and gentility, she was fiercely devoted to family, friends, and church. Molly created a home that was a sanctuary of unconditional love and support. Her faith, ideals, and deeds built a lasting foundation by example, and her lessons in life and love will inspire us, and all who knew her, forever.
