Frederico Berent Kowarick ('Dico'), Longtime Resident of Bronxville, Dies April 3, 2016; Memorial Service April 7

Apr. 6, 2016: Frederico Berent Kowarick ("Dico"), longtime resident of Bronxville, died April 3, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with a brain tumor.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Bischel Kowarick, and his three children, Berent, Peter, and Felix. Dico is the dear son of Anita and the late Alberto and brother of Monica, Ricardo, and Cristina.
He was born in San Paulo, Brazil, and graduated from Roger Williams University. Dico had a long career with Solid Independence Advisors, LLC.
Calling hours will be at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home in Bronxville between the hours of 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville on Thursday, April 7, at 10:45 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NYU Langone Medical Center.
