Pet of the Week: Wise 'Ol Owl

Feb. 8, 2023: Owl is a 7 to 10-year-old cat who is absolutely adorable and more than ready for his forever home.
 
He is a unique cat eager to please and wants his owner's attention. Before being rescued, he lived outside on the street for many years. Finally, he was found by a volunteer and taken to the shelter.
 
Once he arrived at the shelter, the vet looked at him, and it was evident he had spent many years outdoors. His ears were frostbitten, and he was missing seven teeth; however, he has no problem eating and is extremely food motivated.
 
He was at home in the shelter and was extremely social and friendly with the volunteers. He loves attention and treats and gives an adorable "mew" when he wants attention.
 
He is an adorable, curious kitten at heart. He is still discovering the wonders of living inside. He follows his owners around and sniffs new food or anything new he encounters.
 
He is always eager for cuddles and pets with his favorite person.
 
He is currently at a foster home and is coming out of his shell quickly. He is fine with other cats and children of all ages and doesn't mind dogs, as long as they aren't too playful or aggressive with him.
 
Anyone looking for a laidback cat would be a perfect fit for Owl. He is up to date in all shots and is microchipped.
