Covid Report: Pre-Holiday Cases in Local Area Declined Slightly

June 1, 2022: This Covid-19 Report includes data prior to the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Following three weeks of rising Covid-19 cases in our area, cases declined slightly from 1,985 on May 22nd to 1,966 on May 26th. Cases in Bronxville, however, were up from 56 to 59 reported cases. The positivity rate in Westchester County fell from 10.3% on May 22nd to 5.9% on May 26th.
Sadly, two individuals in Westchester County lost their lives to Covid-19 last week, bringing the death total in Westchester County to 2,986 on May 26 from 2,984 on May 22nd.

According to the Westchester County Covid-19 Vaccine Tracker, the vaccination rate in zip code 10708 (1 dose) is holding steady at 88.6% as of May 27, 2022. Click here for more information.
