Local Covid Report: Sixth Consecutive Week of Declining Cases

Feb. 23, 2022: Covid-19 cases in our area continued to fall this week, declining to 480 from 702 last week. Cases have declined every week since January 9, 2022, when there were over 19,000 cases in our area and 170 in Bronxville.
There are currently 16 reported cases in Bronxville. The percent positive rate has also fallen to 2.1% from 3.3% last week and 12.9% a month ago.
Yesterday Governor Hochul said, "While students are off for midwinter break, I encourage parents and guardians to take advantage of this time to consult with their pediatricians and make a plan to get their kids vaccinated and boosted."
