COVID-19 Cases In Bronxville Rising: Avoid Gatherings

Updated Nov. 12, 2020: The Westchester County COVID-19 map now shows 12 active cases in Bronxville and 112 total cases. See map below. To put this in context, a month ago (October 15), Bronxville had 2 active cases.
In a communication on November 10, Governor Cuomo said that the statewide positivity rate is now above three percent. In the micro-cluster focus areas, the positivity rate is 5.59 percent.
He also said that, in response to rising infection rates in the region, Syracuse and Albany Universities are switching to remote learning.
With COVID cases rising, the Governor stressed that both small and large gatherings pose very serious risks of becoming "super spreading" events.
He recommends "limiting the size of any indoor gatherings you host or attend" and limiting Thanksgiving to "your immediate household."
He said, if you are going to be spending time with people outside of your household, take steps "to mitigate risk." These include:
-Be outside as much as possible.
-If indoors, wear a mask at all times that it is possible to do so.
-Open windows to increase ventilation if you can.
-Keep six feet or more of distance and
-Limit the amount of time you spend at indoor gatherings.
