March 3 - 20:  Flip Circus will be hosting circus shows at Cross County Center daily from March 3rd to March 20th, 2023. Click here for more information.
March 6, 7:00pm: Youth Community Fund will host a special screening of the documentary Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety at The Picture House in Bronxville. This 90-minute event will feature a viewing of the film followed by a virtual Q & A and expert panel discussion. High school students and parents from Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe are all invited to attend. Tickets are free of charge and can be reserved here
March 7 & 8: ConEd is scheduled to conduct the final stages of repair to their gas main on Pondfield Road tomorrow, March 7th and Wednesday, March 08th. Pondfield Road will be closed to west bound traffic between Tanglewylde Avenue and Garden Avenue during the work.
March 11, 2:00pm: Concordia Conservatory Presents Schmutzinberry Meets More Friends at the Reformed Church, Bronxville. Click here for more information and tickets.
March 12, 3:00pm:  The Eastchester Irish American Social Club's 17th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.  The parade starts at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe and continues down Route 22, White Plains Road to Lake Isle Park in Eastchester.  The viewing stand will be at the intersection of Mill and White Plains Road. March 13, 7:00pm: Village of Bronxville Trustees Meeting at Village Hall. 200 Pondfield Road.
March 16, 7:00pm: Bronxville School Board of Education Meeting and Budget Presentation at the Bronxville School.  177 Pondfield Road in Bronxville.
Now through March 31: Igloo Seating at Cross County: For those that want to eat in style or simply chill out in a cool seating area, pop up igloos will be available throughout the center.  Igloos feature cozy furniture and festive decorations and are open daily, available on a first come first served basis.

May 16:  Arts Festival on the front lawn of The Bronxville School (weather permitting). 
June 2-3: Village of Bronxville Sidewalk Sale

Bronxville Overview

Bronxville is a quaint village (one square mile) located just 16 miles north of midtown Manhattan (roughly 30 minutes on the train) and has a population of approximately 6,500. It is known as a premier community with an excellent public school (K-12) and easy access to Manhattan. Bronxville offers many amenities including an attractive business district, a hospital (Lawrence Hospital), public paddle and tennis courts, fine dining at local restaurants, two private country clubs and a community library.

While the earliest settlers of Bronxville date back to the first half of the 18th century, the history of the modern suburb of Bronxville began in 1890 when William Van Duzer Lawrence purchased a farm and commissioned the architect, William A. Bates, to design a planned community of houses for well-known artists and professionals that became a thriving art colony. This community, now called Lawrence Park, is listed on the National register of Historic Places and many of the homes still have artists’ studios. A neighborhood association within Lawrence Park called “The Hilltop Association” keeps this heritage alive with art shows and other events for neighbors.

Bronxville offers many charming neighborhoods as well as a variety of living options for residents including single family homes, town houses, cooperatives and condominiums. One of the chief benefits of living in “the village” is that your children can attend the Bronxville School.

The Bronxville postal zone (10708, known as “Bronxville PO”) includes the village of Bronxville as well as the Chester Heights section of Eastchester, parts of Tuckahoe and the Lawrence Park West, Cedar Knolls, Armour Villa and Longvale sections of Yonkers. Many of these areas have their own distinct character. For instance, the Armour Villa section has many historic homes and even has its own newsletter called “The Villa Voice” which reports on neighborhood news.
