Bronxville Cub Scout Pack #5 to Hold Recruitment Night Friday, June 15

June 6, 2012:  Bronxville Cub Scout Pack #5 has scheduled its annual recruitment night for Friday, June 15, at 6:00 pm at the Boy Scout Cabin at 1820 Midland Avenue.  Any child interested in joining the pack is welcome to go to.

Pack #5 is open to children from first grade through fifth grade and, at its core, is aimed at reinforcing the values of leadership, fellowship, and achievement.  This is accomplished with volunteer parents who provide a safe environment where children can learn at their own pace and make friends and memories that last a lifetime.

"I enjoy spending time with my son doing scout activities; it truly is quality time.  My son has fun and feels a sense of accomplishment," said former Cub Master Bill Rizzo.

In the past, the pack has held many exciting events, including rock climbing, camping, Pinewood Derby, a night aboard a battleship, and its old-fashioned barbecue.

This year promises to be just as exciting.

Parents with any questions can email Cub Master Andy Bender at cubmasterbronxvillepack5@gmail.com.

Scouts can preregister for recruitment night online at www.bronxvillepack5newscouts.myscoutlink.com.
