Nov. 25, 2015: On Wednesday, November 11, the Bronxville High School girls' lacrosse players hosted a lacrosse clinic and pizza party for middle school lacrosse players from Harlem Lacrosse & Leadership and the Bronxville Youth Lacrosse Association.
With the unusually warm weather, the teams were able to play outside on the turf, enjoying two hours of lacrosse and camaraderie before heading to the cafeteria for a pizza lunch and an impromptu dance party.
Harlem Lacrosse & Leadership (HHL) is an inspiring nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at-risk middle school kids with academic support, leadership training, and lacrosse training.
The program has been featured prominently in Dick's Sporting Goods ads in recent months. The teams also solicited lacrosse gear, sticks, hats, gloves, and jackets for the players from HLL.
It was a fantastic day of meeting new friends through sport; the teams will continue their partnership with more events this academic year.
