Song Pipers to Hold Open House October 25 to Recruit New Singers

By Jackie Bunn, Chair, The Song Pipers
Oct. 11, 2017: The Song Pipers of Bronxville invite area residents to an open house/rehearsal on Wednesday, October 25, at 10:00 am at The Reformed Church of Bronxville in Fellowship Hall on Midland Avenue across from the fire station.
This musical therapy group was formed after World War II to brighten the day for returning veterans. We continue to perform today for a varied audience.
Once a week, we seek one another's company and sing.
Then we add a little bling
And bring some joy to those we entertain.
We may even touch a heart or two with a memorable refrain.
We practice at the church every Wednesday morning from 9:30 am to 11:30 am (with piano).
We sing Broadway tunes, a little Billy Joel, some Gershwin, and songs from long ago.
Nursing homes, senior centers, and women's clubs look forward to our show.
(We also do a smooth soft shoe.)
We'd love a new recruit or two!
Won't you join our musical crew?
