Sep. 12, 2018: The entries below are selections from the Bronxville police blotter.
Monday, September 3, 1:04 pm, White Plains Road: An unoccupied parked car was struck in the parking lot of Concordia College. The offending vehicle left the scene. An accident report was completed and the incident is being investigated.
Tuesday, September 4, 9:22 am, Meadow Avenue: A vehicle owner reported that a license plate was missing from a vehicle. A DMV lost license plate report was completed.
Tuesday, September 4, 5:57 pm, Pondfield Road: Officers responded to a call of a dispute between motorists. The dispute over parking was resolved prior to arrival. No crime was committed.
Wednesday, September 5, 8:59 am, Pondfield Road: There was a two-vehicle accident; there were no injuries, and an information exchange was completed.
Thursday, September 6, 6:51 pm, Midland Avenue: A 24-year-old man was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (violation) after he was involved in motor vehicle accident and responding officers observed the odor of marijuana omitting from the vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle complained of neck pain but was not transported to the hospital. The man passed all field sobriety tests, his vehicle was impounded, and he was released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
Friday, September 7, 11:02 am, Concordia College: A 20-year-old college student was charged with Trespass (violation) for entering school grounds on September 4 after the student was notified in writing and in person that the student was no longer allowed on school grounds. The student was processed and released on the student's own recognizance pending the student's next court appearance.
Friday, September 7, 10:41 pm, NYP/Lawrence Hospital: Officers responded to a call from Lawrence Hospital staff to assist with a verbal dispute with an individual who was not a patient or a visitor of a patient. The subject, who did not have official business at the hospital, left the area of his own accord.
Saturday, September 8, 10:02 pm, Plateau Circle West: Officers responded to a complaint of a loud party. The adult homeowner was interviewed and agreed to lower the music
Saturday, September 8, 8:15 pm, Parkway Road: Officers responded to a complaint of a loud party. The adult homeowner was interviewed and agreed to lower the music.
