Nov. 14, 2018: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.
October 28, 8:51 pm, New Rochelle Road: There was a two-vehicle accident; there were no injuries, and an information exchange was completed.
October 28, 12:14 pm, Governors Road: Bronxville police officers and the Eastchester Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide alarm. The Eastchester Fire Department cleared the residence for occupancy.
October 29, 1:32 am, Palmer Road: A 26-year-old man of Mount Vernon was charged with Suspended Registration after he was stopped for Insufficient Tail Lamps and an inquiry revealed that the registration to his 2017 Mitsubishi was suspended for an insurance lapse. The man was processed on scene and released pending his next court appearance and his vehicle was impounded.
October 29, 1:51 pm, Parkway Road: A maintenance employee found a small plastic bag with an unknown substance and turned it over to police for destruction.
October 29, 6:08 pm, White Plains Road: A 28-year-old man of White Plains was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the third degree after he was stopped because a license plate reader alarm indicated that it was suspended. The man was processed at police headquarters and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
October 30, 1:28 pm, Citibank, Pondfield Road: Police responded to a call from the bank manager stating that a female was attempting to pass a fraudulent check. Officers arrived on scene immediately and took one female into custody. The 23-year-old woman of the Bronx was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree (class D felony) for depositing a washed check in the amount of $6,200, which was originally issued in the amount of $27.34. She was arraigned by Judge Primps and transported to the Westchester County Jail after failing to post $5,000 bail.
October 31, 7:57 pm, Elm Lane: A homeowner reported that a group of kids was throwing eggs at his residence. The homeowner reported that he knew who was throwing the eggs and that he wished to handle the incident with the parents on his own.
November 1, 9:40 pm, White Plains Road: A 32-year-old man of the Bronx was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana after he was stopped for insufficient taillights and the officer observed an odor of marijuana emitting from the driver’s cabin. The man, whose license was suspended for failing to pay a fine in Bronx County Court, was also charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree. He was processed and released on $240 bail pending his next court appearance. His 2004 Subaru Forester was impounded.
November 4, 3:18 pm, Pondfield Road: A pedestrian reportedly crossing outside of a marked crosswalk was struck by a vehicle and transported to the hospital for precautionary measures. An accident report was prepared. No crime was committed.
November 5, 1:52 pm, Pondfield Road: There was a two-vehicle accident; there were no injuries, and an information exchange was completed.
