Bronxville Police Blotter: January 20 to January 28, 2019

Feb. 6, 2019: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.
Jan. 20, 2019, 7:26 pm, Sagamore Road: A malfunctioning traffic light was reported at the corner Avon and Sagamore Roads. Officers were able to set the light on a flashing cycle until it could be corrected.
Jan. 22, 2019, 10:20 pm, Pondfield Road: Police conducted a motor vehicle stop and impounded a 2012 Mercedes-Benz. The driver was issued citations for operating with no registration and operating with no insurance.
Jan. 23, 2019, 12:56 pm, Cedar Street: Police assisted the Eastchester Fire Department with a fire alarm at the Church of Saint Joseph. The alarm was deemed to be a malfunction caused by a water leak.
Jan. 24, 2019, 11:18 am, Merestone Terrace: A 2018 Honda Ridgeline pickup stolen from the Village of Tuckahoe was recovered by police. The truck was taken by Tuckahoe Police for processing.
Jan. 25, 2019, 8:01 pm, Garden Avenue: Noise complaint at the tennis courts, unfounded.
Jan. 26, 2019, 11:42 am, CVS Pondfield Road: The manager reported that a male had stolen cosmetic products in the past few minutes. Police interviewed the manager and canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The incident is being investigated.
Jan. 27, 2019, 11:18 am: Police responded to a call of a past domestic dispute. A domestic incident report was completed.
Jan. 28, 2019, 7:08 pm, Lookout Ave: A homeowner reported two suspicious males sitting in a van in her driveway. Officers responded and interviewed the males. They were Verizon employees at the wrong address.
