The fall semester begins with a free community lecture on Monday, September 17, Happiness is a Choice You Make, co-sponsored by Concordia College Books & Coffee. New York Times award-winning author John Leland will discuss his wise and insightful book about the secrets to living a fuller, more contented life. On Wednesday, September 26, The Road to Happiness workshop will further explore how to find lasting and intrinsic happiness in life.
The Bronxville Adult School’s fall semester also offers lots of fun and games to help you to enjoy life, including fantasy football, bridge, MahJongg, pickleball, and squash, among many others. Dancing is another great way to have a good time, and you can choose from county line dancing, belly dancing, Irish ceili, tap, ballet, ballroom, salsa, and bachata. If you are looking for ways to relax and unwind, give yoga, mindfulness, or fitness classes a try. Or tap into your creative self with drawing, painting, memoir, and improv classes.
